.The Higher Summits Forecast for Vermont and Northern New York...

.TODAY...Summits in and out of clouds this morning, then becoming
obscured in clouds. A chance of showers this morning, then showers
with a slight chance of thunderstorms this afternoon. Some
thunderstorms may produce heavy rainfall this afternoon. Highs
around 70. Temperature falling into the mid 60s this afternoon.
South winds 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph, increasing to
20 to 35 mph with gusts up to 45 mph this afternoon. 
.TONIGHT...Summits obscured in clouds. A chance of thunderstorms
until midnight. Showers. Some thunderstorms may produce heavy
rainfall until midnight. Lows in the upper 50s. Southwest winds
30 to 45 mph with gusts up to 55 mph. 
.TUESDAY...Cloudy. A slight chance of showers. Isolated
thunderstorms in the afternoon. Highs in the upper 60s. West winds
20 to 35 mph with gusts up to 45 mph, diminishing to 15 to 25 mph
with gusts up to 35 mph in the afternoon.
