   The higher summits forecast for Vermont and Northern New York:

   Today: Mostly sunny this morning, then becoming mostly cloudy this
   afternoon. Highs around 20. Variable winds around 10 mph. 
   Thursday: Cloudy with a slight chance of snow and sleet in the
   morning, then summits obscured in clouds with rain likely in the
   afternoon. Highs in the 30S. South To southeast winds 40 to 50 mph.

   The Lake Champlain Lake level at the King Street ferry dock in
   Burlington was 97.38 feet and the water temperature
   was 33 degrees.
