Subject: [SKIVT-L] Tahoe on the Cheap

FWIW, I was noodling around on the SouthwestAir website pricing their
early season 7-day ski vacation packages. I priced one for Tahoe during the
week we went to Whistler last year (Dec 7-14 this year), staying at one of
the big casinos at the South end and renting a 4X4 to get around.

It would cost us $2275.00 total for four people for rt air, lodging,
breakfast, taxes and the 4X4. That's only about $570.00 pp. A 6-day BigSix
ticket adds about $275.00.

That's about $845.00 pp total. Not a bad deal, if there's early season
snow, always a bad bet in Tahoe, even in an El Nino year.
