Good afternoon,

Tina Paquin recently resigned from her position as an Award Acceptance Office to pursue other opportunities. We are appreciative of the time Tina has spent as a part of the SPA team and wish her all the best in her future endeavors.

SPA currently is recruiting. We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic sponsored program administrator to join our team. Emily Trantum (Team Lead for Award Acceptance, Set Up and Outgoing Subawards) is the hiring manager. Please take a look and help us spread the word to those who may be interested in joining SPA!

Award Acceptance Officer
As an active member of the Sponsored Project Administration grant lifecycle team, serve as the University's primary administrative liaison with faculty, sponsors, and collaborating organizations during the award review, negotiation, and acceptance processes. Review draft award documentation for compliance with applicable proposal and sponsor-specific guidelines, federal regulations, university policies and procedures, and the corresponding proposal. Represent the University and faculty investigators in negotiations with sponsors. Prepare awards for set up. Provide service, outreach, and training to the University research community, collaborating organizations, and external sponsors. Collaborate with internal and external colleagues to problem-solve proposal and award-specific issues.
