Please note that this week's SPA Seminar: PeopleSoft Tools and Best Practices for Financial Management will contain a new section highlighting functionality of PI Portal.   The seminar is on April 17th 10:30 AM - Noon. Speaking of financial management of sponsored projects, I am happy to share that Financial Management section of the SPA website has been expanded significantly to include sections on roles and responsibilities, compliance tips, financial audits and site visits, guidance regarding spending near end of award period, and non-payroll cost transfers, to name a few. We will continue to update this section of the website as we publish SPA procedures for  Financial Closeout, Final Financial Report, and Residual Balance Transfers, which are currently under review, and as other content is developed.
