Many thanks,

Subject: US Nationals Update!

Greetings Debate Community,

The "Online" check-in is up and ready to go. You can simply log in, read the instructions, and your teams will be officially checked in for the tournament. We will be having roll call throughout the tournament, but this is simply for round efficiency and for your convenience. So what does this mean?

When you land, or check into the hotel, you can go online and check in your teams and judges. Yes, you can still do this when you check in at the hotel with our staff, but we wanted to make this easier. Even if you utilize this electronic check in, you MUST physically approach our registration table at the Sheraton and pay. At this point, we will give you the proper maps, lanyards, ask if you have checked in your teams and judges online, and hand you some very important information needed for the tournament.

As the coach/director/leader of your organization, you are responsible for your teams being present. Our CA team will explain the rule for dropping teams/institutions at the "mandatory" briefing. With that said, be sure to check in your teams at a reasonable time. It probably wouldn't be wise to register your teams online while your team is in NY and there is a blizzard expected, but if you feel comfortable registering when you land and are en route, great. This is for your convenience.

Any questions, please feel free to start a conversation here.
