*Chennai Worlds 2014 - Previous Attendance and Break Information*

*Overview*

*If you plan to register for the World Universities Debating Championship,
please review this email.*

The Chennai Worlds registration process prioritizes institutions according
to the average number of teams from that institution that have made the
break in *any language category* over the past 3 WUDCs. Furthermore, the
process also limits institutions that have not sent a team to *any* of the
previous 3 WUDCs to registering a maximum of 1 team this year.

Registration will open on *Monday May 20, 2013, at 10am GMT. Registration
will remain open for 24 hours.*

For full details of our registration policy please visit:
http://chennaiworlds.com/2013/04/19/registration-policy/

*Previous Attendance and Break Information*

The following google document includes a) our list of all the institutions
who have attended *any* of the prior 3 WUDC competitions and b) the number
of teams those institutions have broken, in any language category, during
those 3 years (the "break data" tab can be clicked at the bottom of the
screen). If you would like either of these documents in PDF form, please
let me know.

To the best of our knowledge, there is no central record of all the
institutions that have attended WUDC before, nor a collection of break
data. Thus it is possible that there may be errors in the data. *We request
the institution review the following documents and let us know if there are
any mistakes.* This includes mistakes to the name of your institution. It
will be an enormous help to our registration process (and to registration
for future WUDCs) if every institution is referred to in a consistent
manner. *Please do not provide a different institution name when you
actually register on May 20. *

*Please email any corrections to
**[log in to unmask]*<[log in to unmask]>.
The sooner you let us know, the easier it will be to correct this
information. The deadline for informing us of a mistake will be *Friday,
May 17, 2013. *In your email, please let us know if there is a particular
reason the information is incorrect (e.g. one institution is actually
listed twice, but with different names).

Please let us know if you have questions. We look forward to seeing you in
Chennai!

Regards,
Michael Baer (*[log in to unmask]*<[log in to unmask]>
