Hi Jean,
Our cardiologists have experimented with both the Angio-seal and the Perclose
devices. We had 3-4 instances where the Angio-seal dislodged, 2 were removed from
the CFA and one made it's way to the tib-peroneal trunk. It was then recommended
by my vascular surgeon to just use the Perclose device and as far as I know we
have had no problem with this device that stitches the artery shut.
