If you know of any technologists/sonographers that lost their jobs recently
because of Hurricane Katrina and are looking for a new position, the Online
Job Center on the Society for Vascular Ultrasound's (SVU) website homepage
(www.svunet.org) currently offers 25 open vascular technologist jobs across
the country, including 5 specifically in the southeast. We hope any vascular
technologists who may have lost their jobs because of Hurricane Katrina can
get access to a computer somewhere in a relief center and check out these
open positions on the SVU website, or can ask friends and family to check
out the SVU website's Online Job Center for them. All of the SVU members and
other vascular technologists affected by Hurricane Katrina are in the
thoughts and prayers of the SVU Board of Directors and staff.
