Our vascular lab does a lot of carotids, but we also use the same rooms for
everything else in vascular. We leave the rooms set up for the traditional
"abdominal" bed and machine positions. Seems quicker, we can still sit down
and the patients seem very comfortable with it. New grads, students and new
hires have found it fairly easy (and comfortable) to use if they were
acustomed to the other method.
