Hi Sal,
Thank you for your feedback, and so quickly!  You are right, it is important to purchase sturdy equipment.  What sort of environment do you use the SmartDop?  Are you able to do full lower extremity studies with it?  How about exercise studies?  Can you name draw-backs to the product?  We appreciate your responses.

we have the little brother or sister..lol   smart dop es-1000spm and the model your describing is probably a step up. the kovan Doppler we have is very reliable and gives a strong signal with a sturdy probe. some probes are very delicate and break easily ... good luck
