Andy-
Just curious. You mentioned you correlated 100 ultrasound studies with biopsy. What your accuracy compared to biopsy? We published on this awhile back, but the equipment is improved since we did this. Did you write it up? What criteria were you using to determine a positive study-velocities changes, presence of a halo, etc.?
Thanks-
Paula Heggerick

Subject: Temporal artery duplex    Hi,    I was wondering if anyone has a protocol for temporal artery testing to rule out temporal arteritis? My physician’s and I have having a discussion on this topic to see if it is something we can start testing. Any information will help!    Thank you!!    Gina Gamber, RVT Technical Director    To unsubscribe or search other topics on UVM Flownet link to:http://list.uvm.edu/archives/uvmflownet.html[list.uvm.edu]
