I didn't say vascular surgeons can't interpret. I simply think cardiologists overall are better at scanning and interpretation than vascular surgeons overall.
I'm an RVT, so I certainly know that vascular technology involves quite a lot more than carotids. I'm talking about cardiologists who don't just interpret but also perform renal artery duplex and transcranial duplex exams, not just simple venouses and carotids.
I'm sorry you misinterpreted my comments. I was talking about the probable advantages of combined cardiovascular labs.
