Hey Everyone,

I just wanted to give you all some information regarding places to go
and dance over the next couple weeks:

TONIGHT: There will be a live music swing dance in Middlebury. It is
going to be hosted by the Middlebury College Lindy Hop club. I have
been assured that there will be stuff to dance east coast swing too.
There is a very good chance that it will be free for UVM students, if
you have your ID, but bring $10 just in case. No reason to be caught
unprepared. It will go from 8-11PM. It is being held in the Town Hall
Theater in Middlebury. It is about an hour down to Middlebury so you
will need a car, or a friend with one. I know that at least Robin
Wilke is looking for a ride, so start talking to friends and if
anyone is going and has a seat, email Robin.

TOMORROW: There will be a DJ'd ballroom dance in Norwich, VT. It will
be held at the Tracy Hall (300 Main St). It will have an intro swing
lesson from 8-830, an intro salsa lesson from 830-900 and dancing
from 9-1130. Norwich is also about an hour or so away, so you will
need to figure out rides. The cost will be $8 for students. The guy
hosting this dance is a DJ by trade, so I am certain that you will
have some fun music to dance to.

NEXT FRIDAY: SASS will be hosting a community-wide ballroom dance in
the Patrick Gym. This dance will be holiday themed and will have many
of your christmas favorites playing that you can dance to. We will be
having a mini lesson on swing at 7-730, a main lesson on rhythm
foxtrot frm 730-830 and dancing from 830-11. We are hoping that this
will be a big deal, and it will be a fundraiser for our club, so be
sure to get your friends and come out to support SASS. The cost will
be $5 for all college students. More information will be popping up
about that on campus. I will be playing some salsa songs that night,
as well as other latin dances, so don't feel excluded!

NEXT SATURDAY: USABDA will be holding their monthly ballroom dance.
It will be held at the Fred Tuttle Middle School in South Burlington.
This dance will have a waltz mini lesson and a featured lesson on the
Argentine Tango. The cost is going to be $6 for students. This is
always fun and there is always a pretty good mix of salsa and
ballroom dances.

I hope that I will see some of you at these dances!

Keep on dancing!
