Howdy UVM S&S Club,
The world's only East Coast ski film company, Meathead Films, is
looking for a righteous intern for this fall and we couldn't think of
a better crew to ask than those involved with the UVM SSC. This is an
unpaid, part-time, always rad internship, so we need a motivated, yet
wild individual. You'll earn credit through UVM, gain incomparable
experience in the ski industry, pick up plenty of free schwag from our
sponsors, and have bragging rights for life.
So I'll cut to the chase.... here are the guidelines for eligibility:
? Expected to work around 15-20 hours a week during an 10 to 12 week
internship
- Duration of internship: Late August/ early September
through the semester
- Duties may include attending premieres and being awesome
? Must be living in the Greater Burlington area for the summer
? Must be motivated, personable, and have a good business sense (i.e.
a task-oriented sweet talker)
? Must be competent on the computer (If you're reading this email,
that's a good start)
? Graphic design skills a plus
? Video experience not necessary, certainly a plus!
? A desire to promote and represent the Eastern brand of skiing
These are the general categories of duties that our intern will be
responsible for:
1) 09/10 Movie Tour - marketing & promotions
2) Shipping & Receiving for our Ski The East clothing line
3) Distribution Management - DVD & video content (physical and web)
4 General Public Relations - press releases, correspondence with
magazines, newspapers, websites, etc.
