UVMSSC Weekly Calendar: October 2nd-October 8th

-UVM Ski and Snowboard Club Night at Skirack Tuesday, October 3rd 6-9pm

Club members take TWENTY PERCENT OFF for this one night only at  
Skirack.  Also, you can order Rossignol hardgoods for 30% off.  We'll  
have a stretch limo running from the loop in front of Royall Tyler  
Theatre down to the shop picking people up every 10-15 minutes and  
bringing people back from the shop.

-Meathead Film's WORLD PREMIERE of "Snow Gods"
Friday, October 6th 6:30pm and 9:00pm in CC Theatre
Price:$3

Another "East Coast Ski Thriller" from the Meatheads.  Come check out  
these guys rip it up at all the east coast's best spots: Stowe, Jay,  
Killington, Sunday River, the Chic Chocs, and more.  Most of these  
skiers are UVM / UVMSSC alum so come support them.  Plenty of free ice  
cream, live music, and prizes.  This is the WORLD PREMIERE: Be one of  
the first to see this movie! UVMSSC will be there with a table where  
you can sign up to be a member of the club, pay your dues, and learn  
more about our big trips!

-Rage Film's "Corduroy"
Saturday, October 7th Doors at 7pm, Movie at 8pm in Marsh Life Science Hall
Price: $5 for paid members, $10 for the public

Rage Films is stopping by with their newest movie, some great  
athletes, and of course: prizes.  This movie features a mix of big  
mountain and park footage with 210, 230, and 250 foot cliff hucks,  
opposing 100 foot gap jumps, Alaska heli-skiing and a 65 foot, 8 kink  
street rail!  UVMSSC will be there with a table where you can sign up  
to be a member of the club, pay your dues, and learn more about our  
big trips!

Reminder to members:
Please check your t-shirt preferences online by Saturday October 7th.
We will be taking the t-shirt information and making our order.  The  
option to change your preference will remain on the website but will  
have no effect.  Login to uvmssc.com with your username and password  
and "T-shirt preferences" will be an option on the members section. If  
you do not put in a t-shirt preference before this order you will not  
have a shirt ready for you at the second general meeting.

If you signed up at our first meeting: we are still creating web  
accounts for our new members.  Try the username you signed up with and  
the generic password: uvmssc.  If it says you do not have an account  
yet please try back in the next couple of days.  If you put your shirt  
preferences on the paper when you signed up that information will  
already be there but you may change it until Saturday, October 7th.

Even further ahead: Make sure to have your skis here soon, we're going  
to Killington opening weekend! Hint, thats way before Thanksgiving.
