UVMSSC Weekly Calendar: October 9th-October 15th
-Jackson Hole and Breckenridge Info Session
Tuesday, 10/10
Time and Location: 7pm @ 207 Lafayette Hall
Price: FREE
The Ski & Snowboard Club is going to the Rockies twice this year;
Jackson Hole, WY from January 2-9, and Breckenridge, CO from March
11-16. If have any interest in joining us, come to our informational
meeting this Tuesday at 7pm in Lafayette 207. This meeting is not
mandatory for attending the trips but recommended so that we can
answer all of your questions. We will telling you all about the
trips, providing some pictures and videos, and answering all of your
questions. If you know you would like to go on these trips, we will be
collecting money and signing people up for both trips. Hope to see you
there!
-Bern Unlimited Helmet Fitting
Wednesday, 10/11
Time and Location: 8:45 pm @ Williams 301
Price: 40% off retail
Before you head out to the slopes, make sure you've got your head in
gear. Bern Unlimited is coming to campus to answer questions/help with
fitting PLUS they're hooking up UVMSSC members with helmets at 40% off
the retail price.
-TGR Rail Jam at the Alpine Shop
Saturday 10/14
Time and Location: 1pm @ The Alpine Shop
Price: FREE
The crew at the Alpine Shop had so much fun with the first rail jam
they are doing it again. Different set up, new ramps, and a chance to
be on snow in mid October. Its free to enter, just have a helmet.
Spectators and contestants alike will be furnished with prizes from
Volkl, Nitro Snowboards, Scott Goggles, Giro Helmets, Red Bull and
more. A DJ will be there spinning tunes. For more details call
862-2714. And when the rail jam is over head next door to Higher
Ground for the TGR Anomaly premiere!

Saturday 10/14
Time and Location: 3 showings, 5, 7, and 9pm @ Higher Ground
Price: $10 adv/$12 door 5 and 7, $12adv/$15 door for 9pm
Teton Gravity Research brings its newest film "Anomaly" to Burlington
for one night only but THREE showings. Marc-Andre Belliveau will be
there and perform at the last showing of the night. This is the most
anticipated film of the year. Featuring some of the industry's finest
athletes in the world's best locations including Jamie Pierre's much
anticipated 245 foot record cliff drop, the ski base jump of Cody
Bowl, and more from big mountain and the park. This premiere will be
overflowing with prizes, pros, and good times. Come early and check
out the rail jam next door at the Alpine Shop!
