* Movie Night at Brennan's! *
Hope everyone enjoyed the nice, long three day week! This week is gonna
be CHILLY so bundle up! We've got some events lined up in the coming
weeks that you guys should check out.
TONIGHT in Brennan's we will be showing STEPT's movie from this year The
Eighty Si. Show starts 6:30pm and we've got a few things to give away
from our friends over at Ski Rack! So be sure to stop by, grab some food
and enjoy the movie! We will be showing a movie EVERY TUESDAY! Here's
what we've got lined up for you guys:

Rail Jam This Friday at Smuggler's Notch! Sign up at our desk in SGA!
Friday night is Rails for Ryan over at Smuggler's Notch! Entry is free,
with a suggested $5 dollar donation that will go towards the Flyin Ryan
Foundations (www.flyinryanhawks.org) Registration starts at 5pm a the
base lodge. There will be prizes for those who throw down, but feel free
to sign up just if you're looking to just have a good night! Check out

Keep your eyes peeled for an email with more details!
We will be dropping Officer Applications on google docs! If you want to
be involved with one of the RADDEST CLUBS EVER and get your foot in the
door in the Snow Industry... APPLY TO BE AN OFFICER! Not to mention its
a great resume builder! Keep your eye out for another email that will
have more information about the application process, positions etc!

YOU SHOULD REALLY DOWNLOAD THESE PDFs!! Last week at the Second General
Meeting we were handing out brochers with a bunch of club information
for you guys. in the BROCHER is the BUS SCHEDULE!!!! Download it, save
it, keep in on your phone, computer or whatever, but, its all there for
you guys ( plus with some other infomation such as discount codes from
our sponsors over at Action Sport Optics, DopeFruit, Ski Rack, Talent
Skateparl and Bloom Outwear. We have also attached another PDF that has
a list of mountain events going on!
* Scavenger Hunt at Stowe This Weekend! *
Going down THIS WEEKEND at Stowe!
This weekend we are hosting a SCAVENGER HUNT AT STOWE! This is meant to
be a fun, on mountain event so grab your friends for a chance to win
some sweet prizes and have some fun!
Here's the dealio:
There will be teams of five, and your team will have to complete items
listed on the "Task List" in order to earn points. To prove that you did
indeed complete the tasks you will have to take a picture of you doing
the task! After, upload the pictures to their own album on Facebook and
tag uvm ssc in the photos so we can see them! Email Hailey Ronconi at
[log in to unmask] with all the people on your team and also, be sure to
think of a team name! All photos must be uploaded/tagged/emailed by
monday January 28th at 5pm. The team with the highest point value wins!
* Raid the Stash Rail Jam *
Friday, February 15th from 5:00pm – 8:00pm *Snowboarders only*
Burton Snowboards will be hosting their second annual Raid The Stash
Collegiate Rail Jam! Competitors from UVM, Champlain, and Saint Michaels
College will duke it out under the lights at the Burton Flagship Store
to see who can come out on top. Registration opens on February 9th at 10:00am.
Stay posted for more event info and information on how to register!
* Talent Skatepark Private Session *
Tuesday, February 12th from 8:00pm – 10:00pm
Talent will be closing the park for UVMSSC and holding a private skate
session!! Last year's session went off, so be sure to mark your calendar
for this years event. Also, Talent is offering 30% off all winter gear
for the rest of the season so use this as an opportunity to take
advantage of this deep discount!!
