Hello UVM Skiers and Riders,

Hope you have been able to hit up some of the early season snow in the  
mountains. In case you didn't come to the second meeting here are a  
couple of updates about club shirts, cards, and merchandise.

First, if you were a paid member before 10/4/06 we have your shirt  
ready for you.  Stop by the club office during the office hours  
(listed below) and pick up your shirt.  Anyone who became a member  
after this date please make sure to login to uvmssc.com and check your  
shirt preferences (an option in the members section).  We'll be  
putting in a second shirt order this week and need your preferences to  
get you the right size and color.

Second, club member cards are not done yet but will be coming in soon.  
  We'll be handing them out in our office and hopefully coming up with  
another way to get those out to you.  Once you have your card that  
will be how to get your club discounts.  For now, most of our sponsors  
have club member lists so they can look you up on the list.  (Dont  
forget, your discount order at the Alpine Shop on one set of bindings  
and/or boots, and/or skis or snowboard must be made by 11/15).

Third, we are taking orders now for discounted gear from the club.  We  
have four items available.  The Alpine Shop is helping us do a  
discounted order on Dakine Heli-Pro Packs (http://www.dakine.com).  We  
have two options, large or women's.  The large has a capacity of 1200  
cubic inches and the women's has a capacity of 850 cubic inches.  Both  
feature a diagonal carry for your skis, vertical board carry, fleece  
lined goggle pocket, an ice axe/shovel sleeve, and more.  Both of  
these packs are great for any BC adventures, great for day trips, and  
ideal for Jackson Hole or Breckenridge.  Both packs are black.  The  
large is $66 and the women's is $47.  The order deadline is November  
2nd.

We also have Ski and Snowboard Club HOODIES AND SWEATPANTS!  The  
hoodie has the club logo on the front and "East Coast's Finest" across  
the back.  The sweatpants have the club logo on the front hip and  
"East Coast's Finest" down one leg.  The available colors are black,  
navy blue, dark green, and grey.  The graphics are white.  The price  
for each is $35.  The order deadline is November 8th.

fill it out, and bring it with cash or check payment to the club  
office during office hours (listed below).  If you are paying with a  
check you may mail the order form and payment for free via campus mail  
to Ski and Snowboard Club, SGA B-156.

We expect all of these items to arrive before Winter Break so you can  
rock your gear at home or take it on any trips you have planned.
