* Givin' Too TONIGHT at Brennan's  *

Show starts at 7pm

TONIGHT: we will be showing Givin's "Givin' Too" in Brennan's. Show
should be starting around 7 pm. Next Tuesday we will be showing Level
1's 'After Dark'. 

* Scavenger Hunt at Stowe *

Deadline extended to March 1st!

ad over this weekend has been extended! You guys now have more time to
get together a team of five and tackle the task sheet ( Check the
Facebook event for the list) We've got a bunch of cool prizes like gift
cards from Ben and Jerry's, 100 bucks from Stash'n'Stowe and of course
some sweet prizes from Stowe Mountain Resort!!

Here's a quick break down of the rules
-teams of five
-get task list from Facebook and complete as many tasks as possible to
get points
-the teams with the highest points win! 
-in order to prove to us you completed the tasks, you will have to take
a picture, and create an on Facebook and TAG UVM SSC! 
-email Hailey at [log in to unmask] with your teams!
-GOOD LUCK AND HAVE FUN!

* SSC Officer Applications *

Deadline for applications is FEBRUARY 6th!

We are now accepting uvm ssc officer applications for the 2013-2014
school year! This is a great way to get involved with the school, meet a
bunch of cool people who love skiing and riding and not to mention a
great resume builder. The application is open until february 6th. click

* Mountain Events *

Wednesday is college night at Bolton Valley

This Wednesday ( as in tomorrow) is college night at Bolton Valley, Ski
and ride for only $19 bucks. tickets don't get much cheaper than that!
Also Night Riders Park series is also on Wednesdays. Registration starts
at 4:30 and competition at 6pm. Also on SATURDAY at BV is Bolton After
Dark-head over for $19 dollar lift tickets, get a soda or pint of PBR
for $2 BUCKS! Hungary? $2 dollar flat bread slices and a free ski/snowboard
movie showing!! 


* UVM SSC goes to TALENT *

Tuesday, February 12th

Two weeks from today, February 12th, we'll be sending it to Talent from
8:00pm to 10:00pm for a private skate session! We will be sending vans
from the Davis Center circle leaving a little before 8:00pm, so if you
need a ride be sure to get up there in time! Also, Talent is offering 30%
off all winter gear (boards, bindings, boots, outerwear etc) so this
will be the perfect time to get what you need!! See everyone there!

* Buses *

No Bolton Valley bus this weekend

All other buses are scheduled to leave at 8 am both saturday and sunday
from the Patrick gym circle. Smuggler's Notch bus will leave at 7 am on
both saturday and sunday. 


* Bash at the Stash *

Back again this year is the 2nd annual Bash at the Stash rail jam! Last
year's event was amazing and this year is going to be even better! Mark
your calendar and check out all the information below.

-What: Bash at the Stash, 2nd annual college rail jam
-Where: The Stash at the Burton Flagship Store — 80 Industrial Parkway,
Burlington, VT
-When: February 15th
-Practice starting at 3:00pm
-Competition starting at 5:00pm
-How to Register: Go to the Burlington Flagship Store, during store
hours starting February 9th. Registration is limited to the first 50
people. Early registration gets you early access to the stash
Prizes: There will be plenty of prizes for men's and women's competitors,
including snowboards, bindings, and more!! There will also be giveaways
for the audience and BBQ & HOT CHOCOLATE FOR ALL!!
-Helmets are required
-No Skiers
-Open to all college students
After Party at the Memorial Annex at 8:00pm, presented by the United
College Club

* United College Club Paint Party *

February 15th come to Memorial Auditorium Annex and rage at Vermont's
1st Paint Party ever! This is the official after party for the Bash at
the Stash College Rail Jam! There will be a Burton Snowboard raffled off
as well as a confetti cannon!! Did we mention VT's own – Kornbread –
will be performing?!?!
The event is 18 + only.
