4. Parking on campus notice ----------------------------
Parking is more limited than usual due to the construction of a
parking facility on a parking lot Temporary lots have been established as
late as this week to help meet the demand and Transportation and Parking
Services is now prepared to offer on campus parking to all graduate,
medical, undergrad and continuing ed students (except first year resident
students) who live outside the ½ mile proximal limits of campus.
If you were told you cannot register to park and you live outside the ½
mile proximity limit of campus, you can return to the Transportation and
Parking Office to apply for a permit. Besides parking, walkways have also
fallen within construction zones. As you move around campus this fall, please
take care to follow signs that may reroute pedestrian traffic.

5. Redstone Express ----------------------------
To improve transit services, Transportation and Parking Services added a
new route now called “Redstone Express”. This route leaves Coolidge Hall
every 15 minutes on the quarter hour with service to Royal Tyler, Billings,
and Waterman. It does not serve the gym, the athletic campus, or the Health
Science Research Facility/Given area. This is a test service designed to try
to avoid the construction area on University Heights.

6. Dinning facilities extend hours ----------------------------
Student Government worked with Sodexho to advocate for students and as a
result there are many changes that you will see in dinning facilities across
campus. New things to look for in Dining Services this Fall:

-- Earlier service hours on Saturday and Sunday mornings at
the Simpson Store and the Marchè. The two locations now open at 8am.
-- Weekend service hours at the Delehanty Deck on Trinity Campus
-- Lower cost lunch alternatives at Cook Commons, the Round Room,
and the Marchè. Food will be more affordable for students paying with
    points and cash.
-- Three (3) guest meals for all Block Meal Plan holders.
-- And as a general note, please do not hesitate to ask one of the managers
    any questions you may have.

Enjoy all of the exciting events and changes that are going on at UVM. If you
are board check out the SGA website (www.uvm.edu/sga) or check out the UVM
Board page (www.uvm.edu/~board). There is never a shortage of things to do at
UVM.

I hope you had are great summer and welcome back,
