36th Annual Celebration set for Saturday, October 2nd

BURLINGTON, Vt. –- Tickets are still available for the 36th annual Athletic Hall
of Fame Celebration and Dinner to be held this Saturday at 6:00pm at the
Sheraton Burlington Hotel.

Tickets will not be available at the door but they can be obtained through
Thursday at the UVM Athletic Ticket Office at Patrick Gym from 9:00am to
5:00pm, or via phone (802-656-4410 or 1-866-4CAT-TIX). The ticket office also
can be accessed through the official Vermont Athletics web site,
http://www.uvmathletics.com.

This year's 10 inductees include: Sue Duke '94 (softball); Brady Frost '93
(baseball); Heidi Allen Gregorski '94 (gymnastics); Drew Hirshfeld '89 (track
and field); twin brothers, Trond and Knut Nystad '94 (nordic skiing, track and
field, cross country); Shelley Addison Smith '94 (soccer); Sheri Turnbull '94
(basketball); Kevin Sullivan '82 (swimming); and Earl Steinman '55
(basketball).

Prior to Saturday's dinner will be a portrait hanging ceremony to be held at
4:30pm at the UVM Athletic Hall of Fame Room in the lower level of Patrick Gym.
