Dickie Named Athletic Communications Assistant at Vermont

BURLINGTON, Vt. - Ben Dickie, a 2002 graduate of the University of Vermont and a
native of Shaftsbury, Vt., has been named a full-time assistant in the UVM
Office of Athletic Communications. Gordon Woodworth, director of athletic
communications, made the announcement today.

Dickie, who earned his bachelor of science degree in business administration
from UVM, worked in the Office of Athletic Communications during his four-year
undergraduate career. After graduating from Vermont, he served a one-year
internship in the Northeastern University Sports Information Office before
moving on to Quinnipiac University, where he was assistant sports information
director from August of 2003 to earlier this month.

“We are very excited to welcome Ben Dickie to our staff,” Woodworth said. “He is
a very competent professional with a bright future, and we look forward to
working with him for many years to come.”

Dickie's primary sport responsibilities will be swimming and diving, women's
hockey and softball.
