The University of Vermont Initiates Process To Be Considered for Membership In
Hockey East

BURLINGTON, Vt. – The University of Vermont, through a letter of inquiry today,
initiated the process for the Hockey East Association to consider the
Catamounts for membership in men’s and women’s ice hockey.

This letter begins discussions between the University and Hockey East, the
format of which has yet to be determined.

The timeline for a final decision has not yet been established.
