I know they are loud, frequent, and noticeable vocalists, but I've been noticing more than usual this year. In a brief early morning walk through my 10 acres this morning I counted 8 different birds. Past years the same area held 3 or 4 at the most. Am I just fortunate to have a plethora this year, or does this seem to be the trend everywhere? I've heard a few people comment on a lot of them being present in their counts, but I'm curious as to how widespread this occurrence might be.
