During this morning's snow and blowing snow, the open field birds found 
the roadsides and bunker silo along Little Chicago Road in Ferrisburgh.

Amid Horned Larks at the western end of the large, open fields were 33 
Lapland Longspurs.  I have seen Longspurs in that location in previous 
years.
