Today in Salisbury another BARRED OWL sitting in the tree line of pines on the east side of Rt 7.

In Middlebury downtown a UFO accipter harassing rock pigeons. I was driving in traffic at the time and thought it unwise to be looking up for more than a second. I could not relocate it after parking. But it was large---and the gizz said maybe a imm. goshawk.
