Around 4PM today (3/5), while sitting on the Crown Point ferry, I  
observed either 1 or 2 Canvasback or Redhead with a group of Common  
Goldeneye and Scaup sp.  The group was toward the mouth of Whitney  
Creek so it was a little far to get a definitive look.  My first  
instinct was Canvasback (based on body shape and bill color), but the  
body seemed too gray for Canvasback. If anyone is in the area tomorrow  
it may be worth a quick stop.
