Over the last couple days we've had some new visitors to our feeders in
Waterbury. Wednesday I was psyched to have a pair of Evening Grosbeaks
visiting. It's been 2 years since we have seen them (during spring
migration 2 years ago), and they are such cool birds. No sign of them
yesterday, so they may have moved on. Then, Thursday evening, we heard a
different, strange sound outside, and sure enough, there was a gray catbird
(my first of the year) sitting on the suet feeder, doing it's best
impression of a sad kitten.
Gotta love this time of year. What will today bring??
