A few minutes ago, a rather stunning Blue-winged Warbler was feeding in the
bushes behind my house. Also, here is a belated report of sightings around
the Otter Creek (and flooded fields thereof) near Brandon on the afternoon of
April 30:
Blue-winged Teal - 2
Wood Duck - 26
Mallard - 7
Common Merganser - 1
Canada Goose - around 20 or 30
Great Blue Heron - 2
American Bittern -1 (heard)
Pied-billed Grebe - 1
Killdeer - 2
American Kestrel - 2
American Robin - X
Red-winged Blackbird - X
Common Grackle - X
