After i posted my message about the possible Fish Crow in Putney i read in Pfeiffer and Murin's finding guide to VT: "Use caution distinguishing its (fish crow's) voice from those of courting female and young American Crow". I was not aware that Amerian Crows can give calls similar to the Fish Crow. It's possible i heard an immature American Crow with a particularly nasal call? We'll never know now!!!! Taj Putney, Vt
