As of 12:30 today the snowy owl was at the goose viewing area on Rt 17. It was about 100yards on the east end of the drive by the iron gate to the field .
Bird sat for the hour I observed it. S flock of snow buntings buzzed it several times. No doubt greeting a fellow Arctic traveler.
What a Christmas gift!
