A few days ago I was inspecting the Muddy Brook Marsh (Great Egret, BW Teal,
Solitary Sandpiper) in
South Burlington, when I spotted one of the resident Wood Ducks (Mrs.) with
seven newly-hatched ducklings and a Canada Goose (?Mrs.) with six goslings.
'Tis the season. Welcome all.
