Especially now, Sue! People will be wanting to "get it" again, for their 2021 list! Be adventuresome, people! There's got to be more out there! Relax! Enjoy birds! Find one in an open field, down a back road where everyone can stay safe! And as far as stressing the owl, it would be a shame IF it starved, or made a bad move and was struck by a car. NOT worth a photo if you ask me!

Subject: [VTBIRD] Owl

From the latest snowy owl reports there is some very bad behavior going on with the Shelburne snowy owl. People are causing stress on the bird by chasing it to get close photos.
This behavior is unacceptable and needs to be stopped for the welfare of the bird.
