Congratulations and thanks to Chip Darmstadt and Larry Clarfeld of North Branch Nature Center (www.northbranchnaturecenter.org) for taking young adult and youth birding teams to the World Series of Birding in Cape May last weekend!
With 139 and 113 species respectively, the Vermont teams "done good".
Between the driving 12 hours each way, coordinating routes, leading the quest for 24 hours and cheering the teams on -- it's a heroic effort!
Hats off to NBNC for its fine efforts to connect youth (and all of us) with nature.
