Looks like a bona fide second-year male, meaning it hatched last year and when it molts at the end of this breeding season it will assume the black and chestnut plumage of a fully adult male.

Subject: [VTBIRD] Orchard Oriole?
Just saw this guy in my backyard. I believe it's an Orchard Oriole,
but I've never seen one before. I don't see two well-defined white
wing-bars. Is it something else?
