I've had a pair of Carolina wrens roosting in a cubby on my front porch for
the past couple of weeks. They've been spending each night cozied up in the
same nest they built and successfully reared their young in the summer (I'm
assuming it's the same pair). I wasn't aware of Carolina wrens (or other
birds) reusing nests for winter roosts, so just wanted to share!
