At 5:45pm I glanced out the window to see a female or juvenile hummer
sipping from the New Guinea Impatiens. It also visited the honeysuckle vine
(Dropmore Scartlett) that blooms from early spring to late fall.

For those of you who might be tempted to bird in the Mad River Valley area,
we are reaching peak foliage, so this weekend should be perfect!
