I was very surprised to spot a dunlin on a small clump of grass out in the cove
this morning. Some of the other birds at Herrick's today include: 1 lesser
yellow legs, 1 greater y-legs, 1 adult bald eagle, 1 osprey, 1 n. harrier (F),
barn swallows, tree swallows, n. rough-winged swallows, bank swallows, 2
gray catbirds, 2 swamp sparrows, 3 kingfishers, 1 GBH, 3 myrtle warblers, 5
eastern palm warblers, 1 western palm warbler, 1 yellow warbler, and 1 n.
parula.
