Two grackles were at my feeder this afternoon. This is the earliest  
they've shown up in Jericho Center since 1997.

Also – I recommended a spotting scope review in the latest Audubon  
Magazine. A fellow birder wrote to say that report isn’t very  
helpful. He recommended a much better review at:http://
