With the cold, blustery weather, the only record
broken today at West Rutland Marsh was the speed
we walked the route!

Eight observers tallied 15 species, compared with
18 one year ago. Today's list:

1 Downy Woodpecker  
2 Pileated Woodpecker  
14 Blue Jay  
13 American Crow  
28 Black-capped Chickadee  
1 Tufted Titmouse  
3 White-breasted Nuthatch  
8 European Starling  
4 American Tree Sparrow  
1 Dark-eyed Junco  
5 Northern Cardinal  
14 American Goldfinch  
8 House Sparrow
