You can also get nice looks at these birds along the dirt road that leads to the sewage treatment facility (just down the Charlotte Road from Green Street) where the Dunlin has been seen over the past week. 

When I was there Tuesday, I ran into Larry Haugh, who first spotted one Cliff Swallow among the Barn and Tree swallows flying over the treatment pool (where we were watching the Dunlin and sandpipers).  Then we saw a good five or six teed up on the telephone line along the road -- plus a bonus: a snipe posing on a fencepost below.
