1 Northern Goshawk -- Immature. Flew directly north to south passing over my yard and house. Got a really good look at it with 8 x 42 binoculars. Large raptor, Redtail size or slightly bigger. Relatively long, rounded wings. Relatively short tail, but longer than a Redtail. Accipiter style flight: long glides on flat wings, separated by two or three stiff slow wing beats, followed by another glide, etc. Large head. Pale underparts lightly streaked with brown. No belly band. Upper parts brown. Tail narrowly and irregularly banded light brown and brownish gray.
1 Downy Woodpecker
1 Black-capped Chickadee
1 Tufted Titmouse
1 American Robin
2 Dark-eyed Junco (Slate-colored)
4 American Goldfinch

Number of Taxa: 7
