Good Morning, Jim,
         Yes, I saw a flock of Pine Grosbeaks (good mix of males and 
females) on Packard Road in Jericho yesterday around 3pm.  They were 
feasting in two cherry trees, but only briefly.  Something caused 
them to fly off suddenly, and I suspect it was discovering, soon 
after they'd settled, that someone's chimney smoke was wafting 
through the trees.  Looked like 20 or so when I began counting, but 
as they flew off they looked more like 30.  They flew off in the 
direction of the Elementary School.
         Got up early to fill the feeders which the deer had 
attempted to clean out during the night.  Happy Birding all!  ~ June
