Wow, your shrike party is starting early this year!
Bill and I went out of town last week for a few days. Went to Cape Ann, did 
some sightseeing, a little shopping, and a little birding. I can't believe 
tomorrow is Nov. 1!

Hi Birders,

Masked bird, just in time for Halloween - I heard a couple of window strikes 
a few minutes ago and discovered a Northern Shrike chasing juncoes and 
chickadees around the yard.

Another surprise today was sight of three Yellow-rumped Warblers in 
crabapple tree.
