Yesterday in the hour before sunset the falcon finally decided to perch in the sunlight rather than the shade. I've posted a few photos at

for those who may not have had the opportunity to see this bird, although the distance way up in the tower brought out the limitations of my non-professional 300 mm lens. Image 4 shows a full view of both legs, with no evidence of banding.
