Tho my parents house in Rochester is lacking of the normal birds also I am 
pleased to say that to date it does not seem to be the case with mine.  Darn 
not in any CBC circle, I will have to see when Feb's GBYBC comes around what 
is coming then.   Ruth all your Chickadees are just up the valley in Danby. 
Both my Danby Pond feeder and the one at the Office on Route 7 have more 
than normal numbers!?? I have one Grackle that still comes the the House 
feeder.  I seem to have more woodpeckers, Hairy & Downey and over 30 Morning 
Doves in both locations.  Nancy at Danby Pond
