The Tri-colored Heron was again at Brilyea Sunday morning. We refound the bird at 8:45 this morning and it was still present when we left at 10:00. The location was exactly as described in our earlier posting. It clearly likes this spot - but with fair weather and with winds scheduled to blow out of the north, it may well head out later today or tomorrow...

The heron is not easy to spot, even with binoculars. Take a scope.

Good luck!

Pipit.
