While filling our wood rack, which is located on our summer screen/winter glassed in porch, this afternoon a Carolina Wren decided to check out our porch. Not good! I’ve been lusting after one of those wrens for years, to no avail. This year one has shown up at our feeder nearly every day. I gave it ample opportunity to leave whence it came and no luck. Finally resorted to removing some of the glass panels. Whoosh....it flew. Putting the panels back while leaning over a stack of wood must have been pretty comical to watch.
