There are feeders made of two acrylic "bowls", the one inverted over 
the other.  The upper bowl is held in place by a screw device that 
allows  you to regulate the size bird that can get inside.  It also 
protects from rain, you can see 360 deg.  and it is fun to watch birds 
less agile than chickadees learn to feed.
